I am a licensed professional counselor who has lived and worked in Dawsonville for the last 20 years.

I have a special interest in the military as my husband retired after 22 years in the Army. He has PTSD and I want to give back to our armed services by helping soldiers. l I can understand how difficult it is to love a military spouse. I know the difficulty that comes with healing physical and emotional wounds.

I am a step-mom and believe step-parenting is a difficult job. I feel blending families takes a lot of patience and understanding but your family is not broken it is just different.

I strongly feel counseling is a journey. I have always gained perspective in my own life when I see a counselor. I hope to give my clients this same perspective in a nonjudgmental and compassionate environment.
